Middle School Visitations-Magnet Program Coordinators will visit middle schools to preview Magnet Programs provided by Cobb County School District. Contact your school's 8th Grade Counselor for specific dates and times. Fall Rising 9th Grade Parent Meeting at South Cobb. Informational meeting for 8th graders in South Cobb High School feeder schools. Location-Theater; Time-TBA Introductory Meeting for Academy of Research and Medical Science Magnet Program. Open house and program presentation in the South Cobb High School Theatre. This will be an opportunity to ask questions, meet students and teachers, and tour the facility. The meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M. Directions to the school can be obtained from the magnet website. |

Student application, essay, and signature page are due to South Cobb High School. All forms must be postmarked on or before 5:00 p.m. on this date. Any applications received after this date will not be processed. |

Admission testing at Campbell High School.

Acceptance letters and intent forms mailed to students.

There are two ways to apply for admission to the Academy of Research and Medical Science:
Method 1. Apply Online **Preferred**
- Click below to access online application.
- Fill out required required information and click submit
- After submitting the online application, you will be taken to a confirmation page where you must download, print and complete the signature and essay pages and teacher recommendation
- Distribute the teacher recommendations to the teachers you listed on the application - the teachers will return the recommendations to South Cobb.
- Complete and mail-in the signature and essay pages
- Once the signature and essay pages have been received, the online application will be considered complete

Method 2. Download, Print, and Mail-In Application
- Click below to download the application and Teacher recommendations (Adobe Acrobat Required - click here to download and install)
- Print the application and fill out all requested information
- Print out teacher recommendation pages and distribute them to the teachers you listed on the application - the teachers will return the recommendations to South Cobb
- Mail in the completed application
